Description: Sutter Health is currently seeking to employ Receptionist Trainer- San Joaquin-Affililate Candidates Only* right now, this vacancy will be depute in California. Designs, coordinates, and conducts training for non-clinical reception staff to include new hire reception orientation, mentor training, remediation, Reception Staff Meetings, Site assessments, and other training as needed. Assists with pre-employment screening, and tracking and trending as needed. Responsible to ensure that reception staff performs their duties following the reception standard work and works to assist in the development of training to accomplish this. Works, one-on-one with employees who may need special attention related to their reception skills. Under the direction of the Manager of Service Excellence, oversees the Reception Mentor Program for the Foundation and the Reception Orientation Program.

Sutter Gould Medical Foundation (SGMF)is a non-profit, multi-specialty health care organization affiliated with Sutter Health. Based in Modesto, SGMF provides quality medical care, health education and research activities in a five-county area. SGMF's medical staff includes family practitioners, internists and pediatricians, as well as a range of specialist physicians. Services include imaging, nuclear medicine, a health library, health education programs, occupational medicine, diabetes education, nutrition counseling, infertility counseling, and weight management.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required. Associate Degree in Business is required. Combination of education and work experience may be substituted (4yrs). Current CPR Healthcare Provider Certification or obtain within 6 months of date of hire. EPIC credentialed in Cadence/Prelude required or willingness to obtain credential within 6 months of date of hire. Credentialed in Resolute, HIM, and Tapestry desirable within 12 months. Must maintain EPIC credentialing. Skills in greeting and checking in patients using the appropriate computer system such as would be gained in two years experience as a receptionist at the Sutter Gould Medical Foundation. Presentation/Training experience required. Experience conducting needs assessment and identifying training needs preferred. Proven experience training adults, leading to changed and improved performance. History of excellent reception job performance, excellent customer service skills, solid knowledge of reception duties demonstrated through a proven work record. Knowledge of training practices to conduct foundation training programs. Knowledge of formulate training goals and objectives consistent with the foundation non-clinical needs. Sound knowledge of EPIC modules to be trained for reception staff. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language. Excellent research skills are required for this position. Ability to use a personal computer and software applications to create presentations, type letters, and develop spreadsheets including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other programs as needed. Presentation and public speaking skills. Knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn the use of projector and other visual aid tools. Skill in establishing and maintaining relationships with all levels of the organization including staff, leadership team, providers and regional employees as required. Skills in critical thinking and clear, understandable communication. Skill and ability to conduct effective training classes, evaluating participants' competency with skills being taught. The ability to recognize the different learning styles of class participants and adapt training to meet the needs of all learners. Ability to work well with people of diverse backgrounds, training, and experience. Ability to apply the principles of motivation and staff development. Ability to effectively train adults. The ability to be dependable, reliable, a self-starter, organized, works independently, and have good people management and time management skills are important for this position.
