The Commercial Building Services (CBS) sector is in flux and our organization has a clear strategy to further strengthening our position as a global brand in the industry in the coming years. This requires different competences and capabilities of our sales organization as well as tools/technology and processes supporting this transformation. We need to make sure we treasure what works well while adapting to new and exciting circumstances.

Therefore, we are looking for a Senior Commercial Excellence Manager to join our Global Sales Development team which plays an important role in delivering the change agenda in CBS Sales to execution. You will refer to Hanne Jørgensen, Senior Manager Commercial Excellence, Pricing & Global KAM.

Have an important role in the digital transformation
Strengthening our capabilities, processes and tools in sales are a top priority. The Senior Commercial Excellence Manager will conduct trainings and run competence development projects making sure we move from training to learning to improving business results. You will also develop and support process improvement projects to ensure we advance on our customer service while improving efficiencies in internal and external sales.

Moreover, your key accountabilities and responsibilities will be to:

  • Support the development and execution of our Commercial Excellence (ComEx) programs under the guidance of the Senior Manager and in close alignment with peer team colleagues, senior leaders in sales and our regional ComEx network
  • Build up capabilities and co-drive the automation and technology-based optimization agenda in the ComEx team to reach scalability and harmonisation of our core processes
  • Complete process improvement projects in our sales organization in close collaboration with our sales regions and global ComEx network
  • Represent CBS in the Commercial Core – CRM project and gather needs and input from the sales organization
  • Ensure that Global Sales Development provides practical, tangible and measurable added value to our sales organizations
  • Closely collaborate with our regional internal and external sales heads and COMEX professionals to ensure a solid fit between the global programmes, regional and local market needs
  • Facilitate the exchange of knowledge and information about growth in competence development, performance management and process improvement in order to replicate best practices
  • Have active ambassadorship for the Grundfos Values and Principles as well as Grundfos 2025 strategy


Customer insight, good digital skills and proactive drive
We imagine, you hold a relevant Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree combined with several years’ of relevant experience from an international organization. You have experience in developing and conducting trainings and improving competences of a sales organization in a structured manner. You have the ability to shape new initiatives which deliver on our vision as well as effectively support the different stakeholders around this agenda in our organization.

Moreover, you have:

  • Experience with planning and implementing projects related to competence development and process improvement in internal and external sales – preferably combined with a sharp eye for how to utilize technology to support a future-oriented sales organization
  • A proven history of driving projects to execution and delivering tangible and measurable results
  • A strategic mindset, positive attitude and shows initiative
  • Great good communication skills and is a good relation builder
  • Proficient English skills – written and verbal
  • The willingness to contribute to the overall ambitions of Global Sales Development also outside your primary field of expertise


The role requires approx. 40-50 travel days per year (under normal circumstances). There is no preferred geographical location for the position since the Global Sales Development Team is spread across the globe. Ideally you live close to a major airport.
