Daily responsibilities: A medical monitor for a clinical study in ICU patients. The site is likely to be outside US.
Required Skills (Experience level / Education): MD with 5+ yr of clinical dev experience. Internist is ok. Critical care experience is a big plus but not a must have.
Essential role of the Medical Monitor is to ensure the safety of the clinical trial subjects and clinical integrity of the trial subject. Medical Monitor is often involved in preparation of firstâ€"in-man clinical trials and conduct and oversee all phases of clinical trials. In addition to study level activities, a Medical Monitor assists in business development and participates in review of compounds for potential in licensing, program teams and standing committees.
