Clinical Care and Research- Napa, California
We are looking for a BC/BE Internist to join our multispecialty pain management and physiatry group in Napa, California. The successful candidate will lead the growth of our Internal Medicine care unit and have an opportunity to actively participate in clinical research. Currently, Napa Pain Institute is the leading, private pain management practice in Northern California. Our community, and our patients, need an excellent Internist to provide general primary care. Training in Internal Medicine is necessary, of course, and an interest! in treating patients with chronic pain is preferred.
Pa! in Management training is not otherwise required as this is an Internal Medicine position. A strong background in clinical research is also preferred.
Napa Pain Institute is closely allied with Neurovations, a leading clinical research and education company, also located here in Napa. Neurovations manages clinical research programs in association with many of the leading medical device and pharma companies, and with many young companies as well. We also co-sponsor a portfolio of educational programs and seminars with national scope in pain and neuroscience. Teaching and lecturing opportunities are abundant.
The position involves outpatient primary care, and little hospital work, as the local hospital has a hospitalist program. Napa is a world class destination, and also a beautiful community for families, offering an unreasonably good quality of life. We are an hour from San Francisco, and within driving distance to Lake Tahoe, Pt Reyes National Seashore, Yosemi! te National Park, and many other beautiful Northern California destinations.
