Description: Department of Veterans Affairs is looking of Physician-Internest/Psychiatrist (50% Mental Health/50% Research) right now, this position will be placed in California. VA Loma Linda Healthcare System located in Loma Linda, CA is seeking a BE/BC full time Internist or Psychiatrist that has knowledge and experience in the treatment of substance abuse, with additional experience with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) or Traumatic Brain Syndrome (TBS). Must be involved in mental health research and quality improvement/clinical innovation activities. We are expanding our mental health research program! and this 50% clinical-50% research position will lead these e! fforts and work in conjunction with our addictions treatment and PTSD programs. This is a "Dean's Committee" medical center. The applicant must qualify at least at the Assistant Professor-level for appointment at the Loma Linda University School of Medicine.
Work Schedule: Regular work schedule is Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm. However, this position may also require changes to the regular schedule to accommodate weekend and evening hours.
