The San Francisco VA Medical Center is seeking a full-time, board certified or eligible psychiatrist to join the staff of Mental Health Services at the Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Eureka, CA . Become a member of this health care team in providing state-of-the-art mental health services to our veterans. This mental health clinician will work closely with the interdisciplinary Home-Based Primary Care team, providing psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and evidence-based therapies to home-bound veterans in their home settings. This psychiatrist should be proficien! t in treating veterans with dementia, PTSD, mood and substance! -abuse disorders, delirium, and psychosis, as well as providing consultation/liaison services to their families as well as colleagues in an interdisciplinary setting. Colleagues in the Home-Based Primary Care team will include an internist, nurse practitioners, psychologist, social worker, pharmacist, and registered dietician. This clinician will also work in collaboration with outpatient clinic providers at the Eureka Community Based Outpatient Clinic.
Work Schedule: Part-time, 16 hours a week.
