An exciting career opportunity for Clinical Audiologist is now available with a 200 bed non-profit hospital in sunny Central Valley of California.

The Clinical Audiologist will be apa rt of a Medical Center with over 1,000 dedicated employees, healthcare professionals and volunteers who are ready to serve the surrounding communities. From emergency services to robotic surgery, the hospital's teams work together to prevent, diagnose and treat patients' needs.

The hospital is also equipped with advanced medical technology, and staffed with experienced healthcare specialists committed to provide high-quality care for over 50 years. The medical staff includes family practitioners, internists and pediatricians, as well as a range of specialist physicians. Services include imaging, nuclear medicine, a health library, health education programs, occupational medicine, diabetes education, nutrition counseling, infertility counseling, and weight management.

The Clinical Audiologist will evaluate patient auditory status, identify appropriate aural rehabilitation and management of auditory disorders, and initiate the required services. The Clinical Audiologist will assess the patient’s needs by obtaining a thorough case history, determine appropriate evaluation techniques, and perform them accordingly.
The Clinical Audiologist should have previous clinical experience in diagnostics and aural rehabilitation of hearing loss with children and adults. The ideal candidate for Clinical Audiologist will have previous experience with 2-channel audiometer, immittance audiometer, probe microphone, and evoked potential unit. Auditory Brainstem Testing-Tympanometry.
The Clinical Audiologist will be required to have Masters or Doctorate Degree in Audiology and Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-A) to be successfully completed within one year of employment. Audiology license required. Must obtain Audiology license in the State of California prior to start of employment.
